What this skill does

Parses, validates, transforms, and designs JSON payloads that survive real parsers, real clients, and real data sizes. Use when a parse fails at a byte offset or on a trailing comma, an id or an amount loses precision, accents and emoji come back as mojibake, a field is null when it should be absent, duplicate keys silently win, a JSON Schema passes what it should reject or a `$ref` will not resolve, a multi-gigabyte file will not fit in memory, a jq, JMESPath, or JSONPath expression returns nothing, two documents must be diffed or patched, a webhook signature fails after the body was re-serialized, untrusted input must be parsed safely, or a response shape has to change without breaking existing clients. How to install JSON

The easiest path is via the OpenClaw Easy desktop app — one click, no terminal required:

1. Download OpenClaw Easy for macOS or Windows (free, one-click installer, ~30 seconds).

If you already run the OpenClaw CLI, add JSON with a single command:

openclaw skills add json

This pulls json from ClawHub and installs it into ~/.openclaw/skills/json/. Restart the OpenClaw gateway afterwards so the new skill is discovered.

How to use JSON

Once installed, JSON activates on its own: when an incoming message on WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Feishu or Line matches the skill's description, your OpenClaw agent loads it and runs the workflow. You can also trigger it explicitly by describing the task in chat. No extra configuration is required after install.

Manual install (advanced)

If you prefer manual installation:

1. Click the Download .zip button above to grab json-1.0.2.zip directly from our S3 mirror.
2. Unzip into ~/.openclaw/skills/json/ (create the directory if it does not exist).
3. Restart OpenClaw Easy (or the OpenClaw CLI gateway) so the new skill is discovered.
